Revv Road Car Rental L.L.C is a mainland limited liability company registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (licence number 1149662, TRN 104183778000003), with its registered office in Dubai Investment Parks ("Revv", "we", "us"). We rent vehicles from our own fleet directly to customers ("Renters", "you") under our Rental Agreement.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect your personal information, whether you deal with us through our website (www.revv.ae), by WhatsApp, phone or email, in person at vehicle handover, or through a booking platform. It is issued in line with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and its executive regulations.

Identity and eligibility information. Your name, date of birth, nationality, passport or Emirates ID details, driving licence details, visa or residency status, and employer name — collected to verify that you are eligible to rent and to complete the Rental Agreement and Schedule A.

Contact information. Your mobile number, email address and address in the UAE.

Payment information. Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your full card number on our own systems. Your payment method is securely retained by Stripe so that charges arising under your Rental Agreement — including rental payments, tolls, fines and other charges notified after the vehicle is returned — can be processed in accordance with the agreement you sign.

Rental information. Details of your booking and rental, including vehicle, dates, handover and return records, kilometre readings, fuel levels, damage reports, toll (Salik/Darb) records, traffic fines, and invoices and payment history.

Communications. Messages and correspondence you exchange with us by WhatsApp, email or phone may be retained for our records and to handle your bookings, queries and any disputes.

Website information. When you visit our website, standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type and pages visited may be logged, and cookies may be used as described below.

If you book through a platform such as Invygo, we receive your booking and identity information from that platform in order to prepare your Rental Agreement and deliver the vehicle. The platform's own privacy policy applies to the information you provide to it.

Vehicle tracking (GPS) information. Our vehicles are fitted with GPS tracking devices, and we collect vehicle location data during your rental. We use this data to protect our fleet and locate vehicles that are lost, stolen, overdue for return, or being used in breach of the Rental Agreement (for example, taken outside the UAE or used off-road), to assist with roadside assistance and vehicle recovery, and to support accident investigations and insurance claims. Location data may be shared with the police or other authorities where a vehicle is reported stolen or where disclosure is required by law. We do not use GPS data to routinely monitor your movements, and we retain it only for as long as needed for these purposes.

We process your personal information on the following legal bases:

To perform your Rental Agreement — verifying your identity and licence, preparing and signing the agreement, delivering and collecting the vehicle, processing payments, and administering tolls, fines, fuel, damage and other charges under the agreement.

To comply with our legal obligations — including maintaining rental records required by UAE authorities, reporting to and settling amounts with government bodies (such as the RTA, Dubai Police and toll authorities), and meeting tax and accounting requirements.

For our legitimate business interests — protecting our vehicles, recovering amounts owed, handling insurance claims, preventing fraud, and improving our services.

With your consent — sending you marketing or promotional messages. You can withdraw this consent at any time and it will not affect your rental.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Stripe, our payment provider, to process payments and retain your payment method for charges under your Rental Agreement;
• Our insurers, in connection with insurance cover, accidents and claims;
• Government authorities, including the RTA, Dubai Police, toll authorities and other UAE federal or Emirate bodies, where required for vehicle registration, traffic fines, tolls, or where disclosure is required by law, court order or law enforcement request;
• Booking platforms such as partners, to administer bookings made through them;
• Service providers who support our business (such as IT, communications and accounting tools), acting under our instructions;
• Professional advisors (legal, accounting) where necessary; and
• A buyer or successor in the event of a sale, merger or reorganisation of our business, in which case we will notify you of any material change in how your information is used.

Some of our service providers (such as Stripe and website analytics providers) process data outside the UAE. Where personal information is transferred outside the UAE, we take steps to ensure it receives an appropriate level of protection consistent with UAE data protection law.

We keep rental records for the duration of our relationship with you and for as long afterwards as is needed to handle charges notified after return (such as late-posting fines and tolls), resolve disputes, meet legal, tax and insurance requirements, and establish or defend legal claims. Information that is no longer needed is securely deleted.

Under UAE data protection law, you have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct inaccurate information, to request deletion of information we no longer need to keep, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw any consent you have given. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at team@revv.ae. We may ask you to verify your identity before acting on a request.

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information, including encryption and access controls, and we verify your identity before discussing account details. No online transmission can be guaranteed fully secure, but we work to protect your information against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.

Our website uses cookies to keep the site working properly and to understand how visitors use it, including through analytics services such as Google Analytics. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; some parts of the site may not function fully if cookies are disabled.

With your permission, we may send you offers and updates from Revv. Every marketing message includes a way to unsubscribe, or you can opt out at any time by contacting us. Service messages relating to your rental (such as payment or return notifications) are not marketing and will still be sent.

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated version number and date, and take effect no less than seven (7) days after posting.
