When moving to Dubai the last thing you want to worry about is buying a car, getting into a 5 year agreement and worrying about all things to do with cars. It's important while settling into the country and understanding living in a different enviorment that you are able to get out on the road as soon as possible. Taking taxis becomes very expensive and having the comforts of a car becomes really important in Dubai where having a car is a must to really experience it.
As we are currently building our product, we are looking for specific customers so that we can build a great experience. We currently are only supporting monthly rentals but get in touch and we will see what we can do. Our pricing is the cheapest on the market as we are looking to build with our customers. Given that, we are pretty flexible as our most important value is to create a great experience.
To be eligible to rent a car, you need to meet the following criteria:
If you have just moved to Dubai
Once your Emirates ID comes through you must let us know to swtich as it is illegal to use your home country driving license if you are a UAE Resident.
If you are a UAE Resident or a Citizen (holding a Residency visa)
You can drive anywhere in the UAE as long as you don’t go over you KM allowance per month or are okay with the additional charges. Your insurance will cover you inside the UAE and all 7 emirates.
You cannot drive outside the UAE as Government regulation does not permit the use of driving outside for rental companies and you will not be covered by insurance.
Yes, we offer free basic insurance for all our cars. You might choose to pay a small fee per month for a collision damage waiver (CDW) if you want an additional peace of mind to not have to pay any excess.
In the event of an accident it is mandatory for a customer to secure a valid police report even if you have a collision damage waiver enabled. This is as we will be able to claim insurance upon receiving the police report.
Under basic free coverage, If you receive a red report/faulty report you will be liable for additional charges and excess depending on the damage, you can read more about this here. If you receive a green report/nonfaulty report you will not be liable for any additional charges.
All our cars insurance is fully comprehensive however there will be an excess to pay should you have an accident which is your fault. if you add the additional cover then you will not need to pay this excess. Excess fee is any additional charges you are required to pay towards a claim that needs to be raised to our insurance. This fee is payable only if an accident or damage is caused for which you receive a white or red report from the police. A red/faulty report indicates that you caused the accident, while a white report indicates that all the parties involved in the accident need to cover their individual costs.
In the event of any accident or vandalism or the theft of the Vehicle, you must obtain a police report. In the event of a minor accident (where no one is injured or there is no serious damage to the vehicle), you still must get a police report. This will be used to claim for the damage from insurance. If you have purchased CDW insurance you will have zero excess to pay, if you have not then you will pay the excess amount. If someone is injured or if there is serious damage caused to the Vehicle, you should immediately dial 999, anywhere in the UAE. The police will arrive at the scene and provide you with a report. This report states the cause of the accident and shall determine which party is at fault. Once you have the police report please contact us and we can arrange next best steps.
The amount of excess needed to be paid will be on your contract and varies based on age and type of car.
We have a roadside assistance team that will assist customers in case of accidents and is open 24/7. Please save this number and give us a call incase anything happens.
Salik is a toll charge for crossing bridges and certain areas on the highway. It is 5AED per crossing and this charge will be automatically debited from your payment method.
Payments and invoices are generated every month typically a week before your monthly due date.
We use stripe for all billing. You will need to have a card registered on our system. If you see a charge you are unaware of please just reach out.
We are flexible and understand that you may not be able to pay in AED, we take any currency but would prefer AED as it's the local currency.
We receive details of fines or salik only after your trip from authorities and do not have any influence on that. You might receive a notification from us several weeks after the original fine depending on when we get notified by the authorities.
All fines will be charged as soon as they come in through your payment method on the system and you will recive an invoice and information regarding the fine. If something doesn't look right just let us know.
Every 10,000 km cars need to be serviced. Servicing means checking the car is safe and good to use. This is a general requirement from all car rental companies. This typically takes from a few hours or a few days, all our cars are issued for express service. Reach out to us if you need a service earlier.
All our cars are brand new and GCC specs, hopefully you shouldn't have any problems before a service is required. If you do have any issues please let us know. GCC specs means that the car was built to be used in the middle east and withstand the heat. This is really important for your safety. We only get GCC spec cars and not other models.
Please treat our cars as if they are your own. This is the experience we want you to feel when you are renting and that you can make it your own.
Before our cars are handed over they are checked for any issues. For damages that are not normal wear and tear, the driver will be responsible for the cost of repairs such as damaged tyres, car repairs, battery changes, dents and large scratches etc.
All our prices are made to be fair and to cover additional costs for service, safety and a certain level of cover, and have checked the market and offer the best and most competitive rates. You may find cheaper prices for the same car elsewhere however things to consider.
Yes you can add an additional driver for a small fee, just let us know.
No, all our vehicles are for normal driving and are not able to handle off-road activities
All our cars will be given to you with a full tank, please return as found. This will be noted on your car release form.
